The 109 PRO Headphones is all about comfort and sonic pleasure, from the structural design of the headphone to the choice of materials, all decisions were carefully made to ensure high standard ergonomics. The chassis is incorporating CNC machined walnut wood, zinc casting parts, manganese steel and vegan leather in a comfortable, lightweight, yet highly durable structure.
The quest for maximizing the sonic abilities of the headphone started with the diaphragm, where we focused on finding the perfect balance between mass and stiffness. Our research led to developing the 109 series Dual-Composite Diaphragm - a combination of Beryllium-coated polymer and cellulose-carbon fiber composite. The diaphragm is encased in a high-precision aluminum frame, together with the neodymium magnet. Manufactured using CNC machining, the frame offers superior rigidity, strength, and thermal stability to retain surface flatness.
